Paint Color Match — Privacy Policy

Paint Color Match ("the App") is developed by Mobile Card Games & Travel Apps LLC. This Privacy Policy explains what data the App collects, how it is used, and how your privacy is protected.

1. Data We Collect

The app handles the following data:

• Camera images: Photos you take with the camera to identify and match paint colors. All paint matching runs entirely on your device using a bundled machine-learning model — your photos are never uploaded to any server and never leave your device.
• Usage analytics: The app uses Google Firebase Analytics to log anonymous app events (for example, which screens are used and when a purchase is completed), along with standard device and app identifiers collected by the Firebase SDK. No photos or photo content are ever included in analytics.
• Purchase information: Records of your subscription transactions, managed by Apple and RevenueCat.
• Install attribution: The app requests an attribution token from Apple (AdServices) to measure which Apple Search Ads campaign led to the install. This token contains no personal information, does not use your advertising identifier (IDFA), and is used only in aggregate.

The app does not collect your name, email address, location, or contacts, and does not track you across other companies' apps or websites.

2. How We Use Your Data

Your data is used only to provide the app's features:

• Camera images are analyzed on your device to find the closest matching paint colors from the app's built-in color catalog.
• Analytics events help us understand which features are used so we can improve the app.
• Purchase records unlock your subscription and keep it active across your devices.

3. Third-Party Data Sharing

Your photos are never shared with anyone. The app shares limited, non-photo data with these services:

• Google Firebase Analytics (Google privacy policy): Receives anonymous app-usage events and device-level identifiers as described above.
• RevenueCat (revenuecat.com): Manages subscriptions. RevenueCat receives purchase transaction tokens from Apple and a random anonymous app-user ID — never your name, email, or photos. Payments themselves are processed by Apple; we never see your payment card details.
• Apple (Apple privacy policy): Processes purchases and provides the Search Ads attribution token.

We do not sell, rent, or share your data with any other third parties.

4. Data Storage and Retention

• On your device: Your settings and paint-match history are stored locally on your device.
• On our servers: We do not operate any server that stores your photos or personal data.
• Deletion: Uninstalling the app removes all locally stored data.

5. Data Security

Because paint matching happens entirely on your device, your photos are never transmitted anywhere. The limited analytics and purchase data described above is sent over encrypted HTTPS connections.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Deny camera permission in iOS Settings, which prevents the app from capturing any images.
• Remove all app data by uninstalling the app.

Because we do not collect personal data on any server we operate, there is nothing held by us to access, correct, or delete on request — your data lives on your device. If you have questions about your data, contact us at the email below.

7. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected by updating the "Effective Date" at the top of this page.
